Chai has over 24 years of experience in the early years sector. She began her career in New York City, teaching at The Creative Playschool at the Fifth Avenue Synagogue and the Brotherhood Synagogue. A qualified Montessori Level 5 educator, Chai blends Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies with a rich foundation in Jewish values and learning.
Guided by her vision that early education should nurture the whole child — mind, heart, body, and spirit — Chai dreamed of creating a boutique, outstanding nursery in Central London. Under her leadership, Kindergarten in the Wood has become a warm, innovative, and deeply nurturing environment where children develop curiosity, confidence, and kindness.
As a mother of seven, Chai brings both professional expertise and real-life parenting insight to her work. She offers guidance to parents through classes and one-to-one support, helping families navigate the joys and challenges of early childhood with wisdom and care.
