Terms and Conditions

The kindergarten is open from 8.00am till 6.00pm Monday to Thursday, and 8.00am till 12.00 on Friday. We offer various attendance options.

1. To register your child a non-refundable fee of £50 is required, payable to Kindergarten in the Wood. It is understood and agreed that acceptance of this fee will not guarantee a place for your child at the kindergarten. We operate an admissions policy which gives preference to siblings and St John’s Wood Synagogue members. All other applications are handled on a first-come-first-served basis, and the parent/carer will be kept informed as to the situation.

2. When you are offered a place, a deposit of one month’s fees will be required to secure it. This deposit is refundable at the end of your child’s time with us. The deposit will be deducted from the fees due for the last month your child attends, providing your account is up to date and there are no outstanding fee’s. Once you have paid the deposit the place is secured and confirms that you accept our terms and conditions. If, after paying the deposit and having your space confirmed, you wish to withdraw your child from the kindergarten, (even if they have not yet started their attendance) you will be required to give four months’ notice. ALL POLICIES ARE AVAILABLE TO VIEW FROM THE OFFICE.

3. Once attendance has started, again if you wish to remove your child from the Kindergarten you must give a full 4 months’ notice in writing to the Kindergarten Manager. (e.g. notice to be given before 5th January is to leave at the end of April). If you are not able to give this notice, the deposit will be forfeit.

4. The kindergarten fees are payable in full in the 1st of each month.
